We will be saying prayers in memory of His Royal Highness’ life and for all those who mourn, on Sunday, at all our services.

Here are two prayers you may wish to use at home:

Support us, O Lord,
all the day long of this troublous life,
until the shadows lengthen and the evening comes,
the busy world is hushed,
the fever of life is over and our work is done;
then Lord, in your mercy,
grant us safe lodging, a holy rest, and peace at the last,
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen

God of all comfort;
We give thanks for the life of Prince Philip,
for his love of our country,
and for his devotion to duty.
In your great mercy,
grant comfort to Elizabeth our Queen,
the members of the Royal Family,
and all who mourn at this time,
through Jesus Christ our Lord,

Amen.
