We are delighted to welcome Gerald Osborne here on 4 April to an evening recital. There will be a refreshments interval during the course of the evening which will be divided into two acts. You may not have attended a recital like Gerald's before but do not be discouraged: He brings the characters and the situations in Mark's gospel to life in a vivid and engaging way. Whether you are new to church or have been a Christian for many years you will see something new in the pages of the Bible.
See the link in 'recent news' below for more information.
Join us on this great day to celebrate with us the miracle of Christ's resurrection.
If you do not normally attend church, or have not been in a long while, come to one (or more!) of our Easter services. We welcome you and look forward to meeting you.
"for when we were still far off, you met us in your Son and brought us home"

Are you new to church? We look forward to welcoming you this weekend.

With the Royal Holloway University campus just a 5 minute drive away, we are ideally located to offer students the chance to meet together and to become part of a local Church during their university years. We run a minibus to Sunday services, leaving the bus stop by the tennis courts at 10:10 and 18:10, or Waitrose car park (in Egham) at 10:00 and 18:00.
Christ Church has a real passion for serving students and young adults, and wants to equip all who attend to grow in their faith.
The student and young adult ministry is built around the church’s vision of “knowing Jesus and making Jesus known.” The events that are run for the students and young adults are intended to make that vision a reality, and to ensure that this happens the students and young adults have also adopted 1 Peter 3:15:
Welcome to the youth ministry at Christ Church Virginia Water! We aim to give the youth the skills they need to cope in challenging situations, and to give them a strong biblical foundation that will enable them to navigate through a constantly changing world. We offer programs and activities in a safe, friendly environment that allows them to express who they are while nurturing their unique abilities and strengths. We run age specific youth groups on Friday evenings during term time and on a Sunday morning. We also offer a mid-week bible study for youths aged 14-18, as well as encouraging the youth to attend a Sunday service.
Christ Church Virginia Water is a family! We have one common goal and that is to know Jesus and to make him known. We encourage the youth to live lives that express the love that Jesus Christ teaches and to live lives that serve others.
In addition we offer 1-1 mentoring and other relational ministry, and special events ranging from music concerts to surfing! For details of all our activities, please visit the or contact our youth and young adult pastor. We look forward to welcoming you into our family.
We warmly welcome children of all ages to Christ Church. Your children, from 0 - 5, can go into Sunday Clubs just before the start of the service from 10.20. If you have older children, they join the first 10 minutes or so of our Sunday services before, if they wish, joining our Sunday Clubs for 5 - 11s. These run every Sunday at 10:40 except the first Sunday of the month when there is an exciting All Age Service. For more information on our clubs please click here.
Children are encouraged to get involved in our monthly All Age Services
in a variety of ways from being on the door to greet the congregation,
reading from the Bible, taking part in drama and singing.
