Mission PartnersChrist Church is committed to supporting the work of the world-wide church through its Mission Partners and through support to both international and UK ministries. We are currently regularly supporting 14 ministries and our 2010 budget for giving to other ministries and organisations stands at £71,520 which represents 15% of our 2009 voluntary giving income. Our Mission PartnersArab World Ministries: We currently support a medical worker based in North Africa http://www.awm.gospelcom.net/ Compassion: Clare Hartley, a member of the church, serves with Compassion which exists as an advocate for children and enables people in UK to sponsor specific children. Through the child sponsorship scheme, children are freed from their spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty, enabling them to become responsible and fulfilled Christian adults. Compassion works in 24 of the world's poorest countries, aiding over 800,000 children through sponsorship. A number of families in the church are sponsoring specific children in Africa, Asia and Latin America. http://www.compassionuk.org/ Development Associates International: DAI is a Christian Ministry which is working with Christian leaders in the "third world".
