If you feel God may be calling you to this role then please contact Annette Ross, Operations Manager, Christ Church, Christchurch Road, Virginia Water GU25 4LD as soon as possible, requesting an application form.
As we continue in our time of interregnum, our mission statement – “to know Jesus and make Jesus known” – will be underpinning our vision for this year – “52”. Rather than looking inward as we await the arrival of our new vicar, we have made a commitment to focus on evangelism and will be equipping the whole church family to spread the word and make Jesus known, not just in Christ Church but where we live, work and play. Our target is to gain 52 souls for the Kingdom in a year!
As part of this “52” vision, we will be organising several events to equip and encourage everyone in Christ Church to share Jesus with friends, family, and colleagues. More details of all these events can be found on the noticeboard at the front of church, but one particular example is that the Evangelical Alliance will be coming to Christ Church on July 25th, September 26th, and November 28th this year to provide training in evangelism, so do save those dates!
Christ Church Infant School have been given a code for tickets for the BMW PGA Championship Golf tournament in May, which means that the school will receive £10 each time someone uses the link to purchase their tickets. The more tickets bought this way will result in much needed funds for the school. Please see attached flyer for more information.
End of Year Tax letters are available for all donors who pay tax and for whom we claim Gift Aid. This may be helpful if you need to complete a tax form. Please collect your letter this Sunday. Thank you!
All welcome to our bring and share lunch on Sunday 28 May immediately following the 10:30 am service. Please bring COLD DISHES or dishes in a slow cooker! Thank you.
From 25th-27th July, meet us on Cabrera Green, Virginia Water for games and activities for all ages from 15:30 with a BBQ from 17:00!
